Synthos AGRO is the first manufacturer in Poland and worldwide to register a groundbreaking plant protection product – Disfera™ 090 EC – based on patented liposome technology (ULT AGRO).
Synthos AGRO is the first manufacturer in Poland and worldwide to register a groundbreaking plant protection product – Disfera™ 090 EC – based on patented liposome technology (ULT AGRO).
Disfera™ 090 EC contains only non-ionic surfactants, adjuvants and other key formulation components, ensuring excellent compatibility with other agrochemicals in tank mixtures.
Liposomes provide a stable and safe delivery system for the active substance difenoconazole, enhancing its absorption and enabling faster action within plant cells.
Studies have shown that Disfera™ 090 EC supports increased crop yields: winter wheat – yield increase of 0.9 t/ha (+12.30%), winter triticale – yield increase of 0.5 t/ha (+7.14%), winter oilseed rape – yield increase of 0.7–0.8 t/ha (+20.50% or +23.50%).
A groundbreaking fungicide based on a proliposome matrix, formulated as an emulsifiable concentrate (EC) for preparation of a water-based emulsion. The product has systemic action and is intended for both preventive and curative use in the protection against fungal diseases.
TARGET CROPS:
Active substance content:
difenoconazole 90 g/l

Measure the required amount of product and mix in a separate container with 5-10 times more water, stirring until a uniform mixture is obtained.
At this stage, liposomes are formed.
Pour the premix through a sieve into the sprayer tank, half-filled with water (with the agitator running), then top up with water to the required volume and mix thoroughly.

DISFERA™ 090 EC demonstrates excellent stability in water of varying hardness (both soft and hard). Tests conducted at the Synthos Agro R&D laboratory used two types of standard CIPAC water with different hardness levels: CIPAC Standard A (soft) – hardness 20 ppm, and CIPAC Standard D (hard) – hardness 342 ppm. In both cases, no adverse effects were observed after 2 hours; the working solution remained homogeneous with no precipitation.
Tests at the Synthos Agro R&D laboratory were carried out at pH levels of 4, 5, 6.8, 8, and 9. In none of these conditions were any adverse effects observed after 2 hours. However, it is recommended that in cases where the pH of the working solution exceeds 8 or falls below 5, the solution should be used without unnecessary delay.
Thanks to the exclusive use of non-ionic surfactants, adjuvants and other key formulation components, DISFERA™ 090 EC exhibits excellent compatibility with other agrochemicals when farmers prepare tank mixtures. It shows very good compatibility with various fungicides containing active substances from different chemical groups, as well as with the growth regulator Power Grain 250 EC (based on the active substance trinexapac-ethyl).
DISFERA™ 090 EC can be used in both large-scale crops (winter oilseed rape, winter wheat, winter triticale) and small-scale crops (spring oilseed rape, camelina, flax, opium poppy, brown, white and black mustard, sunflower, soybean). See label (LINK)
Yes, the product is recommended within the list of fungicides approved for use in Integrated Crop Production, which allows farmers to access additional funding from ARiMR under the Integrated Production eco-scheme.
DISFERA™ 090 EC is the only fungicide on the market that combines the active substance difenoconazole with biodegradable components, a significant proportion of which are derived from renewable sources.
When the proliposome matrix is combined with water, microencapsulation of the active substance occurs, converting proliposomes into liposomes (within the working solution, the active substance becomes enclosed inside liposomes).
Liposomes are nanocarriers and represent a key system for delivering active substances due to their superiority over conventional formulations. Their structure enables easier penetration of difenoconazole through plant cell membranes and faster action against pathogens (liposomes have an affinity for cell membranes, enhancing the bioavailability of the active substance). The product’s phospholipids promote adhesion of spray droplets to leaves and facilitate the penetration of the active substance into plant cells. As a result, it is possible to use a lower rate of the active substance while maintaining high efficacy in protecting crops from fungal pathogens. This is an environmentally friendly compromise – combining care for the natural environment with the demands of modern and sustainable agriculture.
To prepare the working solution, first measure the required amount of DISFERA™ 090 EC and mix it in a separate container with 5–10 times the volume of water until a homogeneous mixture is formed. At this stage, liposomes are formed and the active substance is encapsulated. The microencapsulation process of difenoconazole is dynamic and highly efficient. Pour the prepared mixture through a sieve into the sprayer tank filled halfway with water (with the agitator running). If the sprayer does not have a hydraulic agitator, mix mechanically. Next, rinse the empty DISFERA™ 090 EC container three times with water and pour the rinsings into the sprayer tank. Top up the tank with water to the required volume, mix thoroughly, and proceed with spraying the crop.
